New employee at Neumarkt Galerie

In November, the humanoid robot "Pepper" introduced himself as a new employee at the Neumarkt Galerie in Cologne. This was made possible by the cooperation with the company Entrance Robotics GmbH. Pepper is used to control the observance of the mask obligation and the minimum distances of the visitors. Pepper speaks, sings and dances, with his gestures and facial expressions he reacts in a very human way and quickly becomes a popular figure. In addition, the escalator handrails were equipped with UVC modules to kill germs, viruses and bacteria and provide visitors with a safe shopping experience.

Since February 8, 2021 the Vaccination Center in Rheinberg Galerie has been open daily. The vaccination center was established on a former sales area in the basement of Rheinberg Galerie. Apleona Real Estate coordinated the necessary finishing works of the floors as well as the technical building equipment.

As of March 1, 2021 up to 300 people per day can be vaccinated.

Vaccination capacity can even be increased to up to 3500 vaccinations per week in the near future.

Stores serving basic needs are open in the Rheinberg Galerie.

As a special service, Rheinberg Galerie offers its customers to have their purchases delivered free of charge to their doorstep via Lasten E-Bike.  This service is very important especially for old people or people who are under quarantine, because a visit for daily shopping is sometimes difficult or even impossible. This is made possible by a cooperation with the high school graduating class of the Nicolaus-Cusanus-Gymnasium. In recognition of the high school graduates' great willingness to help, they will be financially supported at the high school graduation party in the summer.

On the website www.rheinberggalerie.de/lieferdienst.aspx you can find an order form of the stores: Aldi, Bäckerei Busch, Bären Apotheke, Drogerie Müller, GoBami, Optik Jahn and SuperBioMarkt. The order can also be taken by mail or Whatsapp.
